A certified traditional kimono craftsman from Kyoto created this piece by adapting the techniques of kinsai, the art of gold-leaf decoration.
Foils in a variety of hard-to-find traditional Japanese colors are applied to the tie pin using an original technique.
On top of that, auspicious patterns are drawn in gold leaf and other materials.
