kico long porch, Folding Fan Pattern
The kico long porch, made with fabric featuring a folding fan pattern layered over small polka dots.
A drawstring bag that can also hold a bottle of wine or sake.
Bring wine or sake in it as a gift to a home party, and it is sure to turn heads.
The lining is water-repellent recycled nylon.
About the outer fabric
The folding fan pattern carries wishes for prosperity, good fortune, growth and a bright future.
Because the fan widens toward the end, it is considered a lucky charm and has been used for festive attire at weddings and Shichi-Go-San celebrations.
About the ribbon
The water-repellent recycled nylon used for the lining is made into a ribbon so you can tie it.
When carrying a bottle, tie it at the neck of the bottle to keep it stable.
When using it as a pouch, tie it closed when carrying valuables.
Notes on the material
・Because we upcycle vintage kimono, there may be discoloration, dye spots or weaving flaws that cannot be removed.
Please understand this and enjoy it as part of the character of the kimono.
・We check the material and use only parts in good condition, but because we upcycle vintage kimono, the fabric may be weaker than synthetic fibers. Please avoid pulling it too hard or applying excessive force.
・Friction (especially when damp) may cause color to transfer to other items. Please be careful.
