・The color of the piping may vary slightly from item to item.
About the outer fabric
Mie-dasuki is a Japanese pattern that forms diamonds by crossing triple lines.
It is said to be named after the tasuki (sash) worn diagonally.
The diamond (hishi) pattern is said to come from the water chestnut (hishi) plant, whose fruit and leaves have a similar shape.
The "hishi pattern" is that diamond shape stylized as a motif for earthenware and kimono.
Because the water chestnut is very prolific, the hishi pattern carries meanings of prosperity of descendants and good health.
Notes on the material
・The color of the piping may vary slightly from item to item.
・Because we upcycle vintage kimono, there may be discoloration, dye spots or weaving flaws that cannot be removed.
Please understand this and enjoy it as part of the character of the kimono.
・We check the material and use only parts in good condition, but because we upcycle vintage kimono, the fabric may be weaker than synthetic fibers. Please avoid pulling it too hard or applying excessive force.
・Friction (especially when damp) may cause color to transfer to other items. Please be careful.
